Paulo M. Sá, Professor Associado na Universidade do Algarve. Desenvolve a sua atividade na área de Física, especialidade de Cosmologia, Gravitação e Astrofísica. Agregação (2007) e Doutoramento (1993) em Física pelo Instituto Superior Técnico e Master of Sciences in Physics and Mathematics (1989) pela Universidade Estatal de Moscovo. É professor na Universidade do Algarve desde 1993. Publicou 28 artigos em revistas especializadas. Orientou uma tese de doutoramento e três dissertações de mestrado. Participou em 15 projetos de investigação. Lecionou 17 disciplinas de licenciatura e mestrado e orientou 24 estágios pedagógicos. De junho de 2011 a outubro de 2019 suspendeu as suas funções académicas na Universidade do Algarve para exercer as funções de deputado na Assembleia da República. ------------(English)------------ Paulo M. Habilitation (2007) and Ph.D. (1993) in Physics from Instituto Superior Técnico (Lisbon, Portugal) and Masters of Sciences in Physics and Mathematics (1989) from Moscow State University (former USSR). Professor at the University of Algarve since 1993. Published 28 articles in specialized journals, supervised a doctoral thesis and three master's theses, participated in 15 research projects, taught 17 bachelor's and master's subjects, and supervised 24 pedagogical internships. From June 2011 to October 2019 suspended his academic duties at the University of Algarve to be a member of the Portuguese Parliament.
