João Dias is an Assistant Professor at Faculty of Science and Technology, from University of Algarve. He is currently the Coordinator and Integrated Researcher at CISCA (Centro de Investigação em Sistemas Ciberfísicos do Algarve), and colaborator at INESC-ID. He has over 70 peer-reviewed publications and has participated in 9 research projects, 7 of which were international research projects. He is also currently the Director of the Master in Informatics Engineering at University of Algarve. His research focus on the design and development of Intelligent Interactive Systems, including Intelligent Virtual Agents and Serious Games.
