I am a PhD candidate (2023.00304.BDANA) at the Centro de Ciências do Mar (CCMAR), Portugal, in collaboration with GreenCoLab. My research focuses on marine biology and aquaculture, with emphasis on reproductive biology.
My doctoral work aims to improve broodstock performance in flatfish species through the development of functional diets and the identification of biomarkers in extracellular vesicles. I also work on the cultivation and application of microalgae in aquaculture and broodstock conditioning.
I have participated in several research projects as a Master Student Fellow, Research Technician Fellow, and Researcher. I am a co-author of peer-reviewed scientific publications and have contributed to scientific events through organisation and participation.
I am also involved in teaching and supervision activities, including mentoring undergraduate students, conducting practical classes on microalgae cultivation, and supporting training in larval culture at the Master’s level.
